Camoflauge has been around forever. The prints have become a permanent factor in fashion and not just of military functional use only. The prints are now used by civilians as a fashion pieces. From high fahion to streetwear to Walmart its become a staple in clothing. The patterns are on hats,shorts, shirts, jackets,bags and the list goes on. I have an obsession with camo. These are a few of my pieces.

VINTAGE FINDS- SCHOTT BROS JACKET

I found this vintage Schott Bros or SCHOTT NYC jacket in a store that was closing  many years ago. Schott Brothers started in 1913 in New York City and is a true American heritage brand. Marlon Brando, James Dean, Sex Pistols are a just a few of the people who have worn these beautiful jackets. This jacket has a plaid pattern with shearling. The buttons are that really nice too. The jacket is warm but  too not heavy. A real classic.

Nike Challenge Court Mid Summer 2012

I was browsing Highsnobiety for my daily fashion update and ran across this post about the rerelease of the Nike Challenge Court Mid. The red, white and blue is so summer and they probably look good brand new or beatdown. This model will fly the radar and thats perfect for me. Probably will cop on sale.

CUSTOM SOLDIER TSHIRT

This is one of  our custom soldier tshirts. One of One. Handpainted, stenciled, splatter and freehand. I used the mixture of pink and yellow and then outlined with black and grey.  I also water down the paint to reduce the thickness and texture in order to give it a watercolor effect.

VINTAGE FINDS- JACKETS

I am a huge fan of vintage apparel. In order to be in the fashion business I feel you should know the past, have an obssesion with clothing, study fashion, have your own style and appreciate other brands.
So I will be during   a vintage finds section which will highlight great buys, vintage items and even post from other sites if need be.
The first post is this group of jackets I bought about six years ago. They all were not my size and I didnt  care. The Lakers jacket by Champion was so ill. The ribbing around the shoulders just did it.The Browns jacket was a Starter and was cool. The coach jacket was for a collegiate team and the last jacket was so eighties. The color blocking with the green and purple in a composition book print just stood out for the last jacket.

RIP MCA OF THE BEASTIE BOYS. LEGENDS IN HIPHOP. I LOVE INTERGALATIC. THE BEAT ALONE WAS SO ILL AND THE VIDEO MADE TO SONG BETTER. THE BEASTIE BOYS NEVER TOOK THEMSELVES TOO SERIOUS THEY JUST MADE GREAT MUSIC.

Reebok Question Mid White/Red-IVERSON RETURNS

ALLEN IVERSON  represented the  new generation  of players in the NBA in the ninities. He feared nobody, not even Mike. He had attitude,skills and killer instincts. The deal with Reebok was a lifetime deal and the shoe company did not disappoint.Reebok’s Question Mid  was a dope shoe, plain and simple.1996 was a great year and these sneakers was apart of that greatness. They will be released again on May 25th.  The cheesesteak in the picture made me hungry tho.

FIVE MINUTES WITH RAPPER EXTRAORDINAIRE-VERBIAGE

We caught up with Rapper Extraordinare - Verbiage, to discuss his first official project, why he jumped on Hova tracks and why the project seems so personal.

How would you best describe the artist Verbiage?
 I would say that my name is the best way to describe myself; a play on words, and how I put them together to tell the stories I choose to share with the public.
What is the name  of your debut project and how did  the project come about? The name of the project is My Life in Syntax: The Jay-Z Instrumentals. It actually came about after some troubleshooting. I wanted to use my own beats originally since I also produce, but I figured it would be more important to showcase that I could actually rap, and instrumentals were my choice of canvas.
Why did you choose JayZ instrumentals? I chose Jay-Z instrumentals because they are some of the most well balanced musical compositions to ever grace the ears of the listeners of hip-hop. They are legendary, and everyone can recognize them. I chose my personal favorites from some of the individuals who I also look up to as producers (Kanye West, Just Blaze, Dr. Dre). Jay-Z instrumentals are also not normally the subjects of mixtape material, so I figured I'd get some more attention from people who chose to take notice.
The songs seem so personal, was that the intial goal of the project? It was. I wanted people to get some insight into who I was through my songs; each one representing a different side of me. I'm normally a quiet person on most occasions, but when it comes to getting ideas and concepts across, I can be pretty vocal.
Whats next for Verbiage? I've got a lot of songs that I've recorded, and now its just a matter of re-recording and trying to organize what I have now. I have enough songs to put out two more projects, but I really just want to push this one since its the one I slated to be the one I officially release first.
