HOLIDAYS

You gotta love the week between Christmas and New Years. People get to spend time with their family, friends, love ones. It's also that time of the year to reflect on the past year and also what you need to do for a new year. It is really a time of self reflection-what we can all improve on.

SNEAKERCON NYC DEC 10TH

STOCKS AND BONDS APPAREL was an official vendor of SNEAKERCON NYC last week.We did the SNEAKERCON DC show in August and decided to make the NYC move too.It was crazy. We met so many people and vendors. We cant wait for the next event. One of the major goals of our brand for 2011 was to get more exposure and get out the masses and we feel we have really done that. Trying to close out the year strong and set new goals in order to reach higher heights.

STOCKS AND BONDS APPAREL were at SNEAKERHEAD:BACK TO THE OG's  a few weeks ago. We had a ball and met some new customers . It was a small venue and a first time but it was great. Shout to Housakicks for putting it together. Check there site also at  http://www.housakicks.com/

STOCKS AND BONDS APPAREL were at SHOETOPIA3 in Virginia in November. We had a ball and met some new customers as well as vendors and hip hop artists. Great event. We cant wait for the next one.

I came a great brand by Kevin Charles Stewart and while checking out the blog. The above quote was just straight forward and honest. It inspired a tshirt design that I need to work on.

The tshirt has  a face shifting off beat  character on the front with the concept of people who are not be truthful to themselves or not keeping it real. POCKET TEES FIRST SERIES IN PROGRESS

We have been working on STOCKS AND BONDS  first series of pocket tees. We went with three fabrics and black and white as a basic for Fall 2011. The first samples came back a few weeks ago and this is what we got. We need to tweak a few details and the white didnt make quality control. Its all a process.

SNEAKERS-YEEZY 2

As a reformed sneaker addict a major part of STOCKS AND BONDS APPAREL is keeping up on the latest sneakers news and releases. I remember  when the first NIKE AIR YEEZY drop and I was on the fence about it so I didnt really pursue copping a pair. The day of the release I was in Bmore and I checked out Securiy Mall and saw them in person and the cashier said "we just sold out". Regret sat in.  Pictures have surfaced about the 2nd installment  of  Kanye West  Nikes. They look interesting.

JEREMY SCOTT is a twisted genius. BRILLANT, CRAZY, WEIRD all wrapped in one. But most important is he inspires STOCKS AND BONDS APPAREL. Follow your heart and vision and you cant go wrong. The new line with adidas is as always just a basket of mixed emotions. All the themes and concepts wrapped in one.

Benici del Toro Graphics
