VINTAGE FINDS- JACKETS

I am a huge fan of vintage apparel. In order to be in the fashion business I feel you should know the past, have an obssesion with clothing, study fashion, have your own style and appreciate other brands.
So I will be during   a vintage finds section which will highlight great buys, vintage items and even post from other sites if need be.
The first post is this group of jackets I bought about six years ago. They all were not my size and I didnt  care. The Lakers jacket by Champion was so ill. The ribbing around the shoulders just did it.The Browns jacket was a Starter and was cool. The coach jacket was for a collegiate team and the last jacket was so eighties. The color blocking with the green and purple in a composition book print just stood out for the last jacket.

RIP MCA OF THE BEASTIE BOYS. LEGENDS IN HIPHOP. I LOVE INTERGALATIC. THE BEAT ALONE WAS SO ILL AND THE VIDEO MADE TO SONG BETTER. THE BEASTIE BOYS NEVER TOOK THEMSELVES TOO SERIOUS THEY JUST MADE GREAT MUSIC.

Reebok Question Mid White/Red-IVERSON RETURNS

ALLEN IVERSON  represented the  new generation  of players in the NBA in the ninities. He feared nobody, not even Mike. He had attitude,skills and killer instincts. The deal with Reebok was a lifetime deal and the shoe company did not disappoint.Reebok’s Question Mid  was a dope shoe, plain and simple.1996 was a great year and these sneakers was apart of that greatness. They will be released again on May 25th.  The cheesesteak in the picture made me hungry tho.

FIVE MINUTES WITH RAPPER EXTRAORDINAIRE-VERBIAGE

We caught up with Rapper Extraordinare - Verbiage, to discuss his first official project, why he jumped on Hova tracks and why the project seems so personal.

How would you best describe the artist Verbiage?
 I would say that my name is the best way to describe myself; a play on words, and how I put them together to tell the stories I choose to share with the public.
What is the name  of your debut project and how did  the project come about? The name of the project is My Life in Syntax: The Jay-Z Instrumentals. It actually came about after some troubleshooting. I wanted to use my own beats originally since I also produce, but I figured it would be more important to showcase that I could actually rap, and instrumentals were my choice of canvas.
Why did you choose JayZ instrumentals? I chose Jay-Z instrumentals because they are some of the most well balanced musical compositions to ever grace the ears of the listeners of hip-hop. They are legendary, and everyone can recognize them. I chose my personal favorites from some of the individuals who I also look up to as producers (Kanye West, Just Blaze, Dr. Dre). Jay-Z instrumentals are also not normally the subjects of mixtape material, so I figured I'd get some more attention from people who chose to take notice.
The songs seem so personal, was that the intial goal of the project? It was. I wanted people to get some insight into who I was through my songs; each one representing a different side of me. I'm normally a quiet person on most occasions, but when it comes to getting ideas and concepts across, I can be pretty vocal.
Whats next for Verbiage? I've got a lot of songs that I've recorded, and now its just a matter of re-recording and trying to organize what I have now. I have enough songs to put out two more projects, but I really just want to push this one since its the one I slated to be the one I officially release first.

STOCKS AND BONDS POCKET CREWNECKS

We dropped our first set of crewnecks on Monday on our online store. The crewnecks are for Spring 2012 and are a preview of things to come for our Summer 2012 products. Perfect for the weather between winter and summer, these crewnecks are comfortable, not too thick or thin. There are two colors availables and they are black and blue. Each crewneck has to waxed cotton pockets and are limited to 12 pieces each. These crewnecks are very unique and different.

I HEART CAMO

STOCKS AND BONDS has  an obsession for camo so when we saw these Nike Air Force 1 Low Camo our heart stop. These will be copped and probably worn with a plain white tee or polo, Actually just bought a camo belt so the stars are aligned.

Song is over a year old but a hot song is a hot song. Nike Nando-LOVE DAY. I like the arm patch on the suit. Life is about the details.

FOOTWEAR OBSESSION-AIR FORCE 1 HAZELNUT

Nike Air Force 1 Supreme Deconstruct “Hazlenut” -These things are beautiful and classic. According to Nicekicks they are available right now. None of that cheap leather/pleather crap on so many of the new Air Forces. This is premium. They dont have the lining but it should not be a problem. The first no lining sneaker I copped was the Undefeated Dunks and I didnt have any discomfort. These are not flashy but they make a statement that you know quality when you see it. Now I just have to see it in person. Pictures can be decieving it times.

BOOTS FOR THE SPRING SUMMER?

For some strange reason, I have been interesting in purchase boots lately. Its kinda strange considering its about to be spring and summer time and most people are probably buying  sneakers,flip flops etc. I got the boot fever a couple weeks ago and copped a pair of Timberlands. Dont know the name but they look like this.

Then a week ago I was waiting to meet a friend and decided to check out Nordstrom Rack since it was in the same shopping center. I saw these Cole Haan boots and has inspired by the craftsmenship and quality. The color were rich and they seem so well made. I didnt want to make a impulse purchase but I have been thinking of them every since I left the store. I guess I could wear them with one of our pockets tees in the spring.
To cop or not to cop is the question.
